Sermon Title: The Anatomy of Sin | Genesis 3:1-13

1. Define sin. The Westminster Shorter Catechsim answers the question of "What is sin?" with this answer: "Sin is any want of conformity unto, or transgression of, the law of God." Discuss this defintion.
2. What is the response the Lord calls us to have to sin? (Mark 1:15). Talk about what repentance looks like.
3. Read Genesis 3:4. What is the serpent accusing God of here? Have you found that sometimes you think of God like this?
4. As you read Genesis 3, we are reminded that our hearts will look to something to find life. God has created us in such a way that we simply aren't "enough" for ourselves. Where all do Adam and Eve look for life and satisfaction? 
5. Where does God provide life and hope for Adam and Eve throughout Genesis 3. What wisdom is Eve looking for?
6. Thinking about God's response to sin in our hearts and world: Read Isaiah 53:4-6 and Mark 1:15. How can we live in response to what Jesus has done and said?
